Those tire slaloms are pretty dangerous, too. I’ve watched a few videos of cars clipping the tires, then launching into the air once the tires get sucked under the car.

Why would you set up a race on a road with curbs like that. I mean thats jst asking for trouble. Also you could tell from the moment the car started turning that driver had made a error.

Sure, that’s why there is advanced runoff areas on pro level tracks. The last thing I want is to bin my racecar because someone oiled the track or I misjudged my line and was out in the marbles. Curbing exists for racetracks but it’s not the vertical stuff like what’s in place there.
